Clive first appeared on IIA's radar when priceless artwork was stolen from a museum. He then got Ben Carlson out of Guantanamo Bay, and used him to capture Dylan Stone. Years ago while he was a part of LOA, Dylan stole a biological weapon that Clive wanted back. And with his advanced brain power, Clive hoped Dylan would be able to make the weapon, call the Orchid, finally work. Clive discovered the location of the Orchid, a New York bank, and sent Ben, Dylan and assembled group of prisoners to retrieve it. He knew all along that Ben and Dylan were in contact with IIA and planned to betray them. He did not not know however, that some of his employees, including his secretary Sophie were working for the Horsemen.

where is he now?
Clive was poisoned by his secretary Sophie the day of the bank robbery. As he died, he saved Percy's life and told him about the Horsemen.
